Domestic Violence and Sexual assault have thrived in silence for years. Survivors of intimate partner violence have recently come forward in numbers, and that has taken courage. However, their acts of bravery are not enough to ensure that the violence ends.  Lasting change needs the support of and action by each of us. The First Step is to learn more about creating positive relationships based on respect and equality, and then take steps to help build those healthy relationships.
